On November 6, 2007, we will celebrate
5 years
in business by having a 5-day SALE.
Everything in the store will be 10% off and some of the
dealers will be offering up to 25% off their merchandise. Because we are
closed on Tuesdays, the sale will run from Wednesday
November
7
to Sunday November
11,
2007.
So make a point of coming to
visit us during that time and get a savings on our already great prices.
We will have coffee, apple cider, donuts and cookies to enjoy while you
are shopping. Come and see all the things that have changed and how well
stocked we are since we opened.
Even after 5 years, some things
have stayed the same, like how nice the shop is. It is well lit, clean
and everything is displayed very nicely. So if you are looking for
a change of pace from the usual dark and hard to get around in antique
shop, then SAM is the place for you. We are handicapped
accessible, with a ramp outside and nice wide aisles inside.
We almost always have oldies music playing, making it a nice relaxing
place to be. We have many customers who visit weekly, just so they
can walk around and relax.
Though the inventory changes regularly, we
always have a selection of books (old Maine authors,
contemporary authors, biographies and cookbooks), toys, pottery, glass,
artwork, records, furniture, kitchen collectibles, linens, postcards,
stamps, jewelry and lots of “one of a kind items”.
So, if you haven’t been to SAM, then this
could be the time to make a trip to Sabattus. From north or south,
we are easy to reach, 2 miles from exit 86 on the Maine Turnpike.

We could use dealers who sell furniture,
country primitives, sporting or hunting goods, tools, art pottery and
the unique or unusual.
If you are looking for a
home to set up your merchandise, then SAM could be the place for you.
We are now a short 2 miles from the new Maine Turnpike exit 86 in
Sabattus. We provide a staff of honest, friendly and helpful personnel. We have a cart/dolly for the dealers to use to move merchandise.
All sales are kept track of on the computer and at anytime
dealers can ask to know what their recent sales have been. Dealers are given a check and a report of their sales bi-monthly,
and dealers also receive quarterly reports with sales totals.
